Dr. Robert
F. Brooks

Dr. Robert Brooks is a graduate of Paul Blazer
High School in Ashland KY. He completed his
undergraduate work and earned his Doctor of
Optometry from the University of Houston in
1980.
Dr. Brooks is a member of the Kentucky Optometric
Association and the American Optometric Association.
He is a past-president of the Kentucky Optometric
Association and a past vice president of the
Kentucky Optometric Foundation. He served
on the KOA board of Trustees from 1994 to
2000. He serves on the board of the Greenup
Business Association. He is a recipient of
the KOA Presidential Award in 2001.
In 1998, Dr Brooks completed a three year
course of study in the diagnosis and treatment
of glaucoma from the Southern Council of Optometrists
in Atlanta, Georgia. After completion he was
awarded the Southern Diplomat in Glaucoma.
He currently resides in Russell with his wife
Anita and they attend Ironton First Church
of the Nazarene.

Dr. Brad Morris

Dr. Brad Morris is originally from Jasper,
AL. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree
in 2001 from Freed-Hardeman University in
Henderson, TN. While there, he was awarded
the Excellence in Biology honor for maintaining
the highest GPA in the pre-professional program.
Dr. Morris also earned a Doctor of Optometry
degree in May of 2005 from the University
of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry.
He is a recipient of the Vistakon Excellence
in Contact Lens Award. He is also a current
member of the American Optometric Association
and the Kentucky Optometric Association.
He is married to former Raceland native Jennifer
Wheeler Morris.

assistant in 2005. My duties include performing
all the preliminary testing at Brooks Eyecare

my bachelor’s degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene
University in January 2008 and I recently became
a Certified Ophthalmic technician. I joined
