Dr. Robert F.
Brooks

Dr. Robert Brooks is a graduate
of Paul Blazer High School in
Ashland KY. He completed his
undergraduate work and earned
his Doctor of Optometry from
the University of Houston in
1980.
Dr. Brooks is a member of
the Kentucky Optometric
Association and the American
Optometric Association. He is a
past-president of the Kentucky
Optometric Association and a
past vice president of the
Kentucky Optometric Foundation.
He served on the KOA board of
Trustees from 1994 to 2000. He
serves on the board of the
Greenup Business Association.
He is a recipient of the KOA
Presidential Award in 2001.
In 1998, Dr Brooks completed a
three year course of study in
the diagnosis and treatment of
glaucoma from the Southern
Council of Optometrists in
Atlanta, Georgia. After
completion he was awarded the
Southern Diplomat in
Glaucoma.
He currently resides in Russell
with his wife Anita and son
Jacob Brody. They attend Summit
Church of the Nazarene.

Brad Morris

Dr. Brad Morris is
originally from Jasper, AL. He
earned a Bachelor of Science
degree in 2001 from
Freed-Hardeman University in
Henderson, TN. While there, he
was awarded the Excellence in
Biology honor for maintaining
the highest GPA in the
pre-professional program. Dr.
Morris also earned a Doctor of
Optometry degree in May of 2005
from the University of Alabama
at Birmingham School of
Optometry. He is a recipient of
the Vistakon Excellence in
Contact Lens Award. He is also
a current member of the
American Optometric Association
and the Kentucky Optometric
Association.
He is married to former
Raceland native Jennifer
Wheeler Morris and they have 2
sons, Jackson and Mason.

Opthalmic Dispensing Apprentice
licensed by the State of
Kentucky. In addition, I have
over 15 years experience in
customer service experience and
a Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Administration from Morehead
State University. Our goal in
the Brooks Eyecare optical shop
is to assist you in selecting
quality eyewear that meets all
of your visual needs. It is my
responsibility to ensure that
you receive the in best quality
eyewear and customer service
